Larissa Baldonado is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than a decade of nursing experience spanning primary care, utilization review, care management, school health, urgent care, and community-based healthcare settings. She is dedicated to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care and improving health outcomes for individuals and families throughout New Mexico.
Larissa earned her Post-Master's Certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Chamberlain University in 2024 and holds a Master of Science in Nursing Education from Brookline College. Her diverse clinical background has provided extensive experience in preventive medicine, chronic disease management, women's health, diagnostic interpretation, care coordination, and population health management.
As a Nurse Practitioner, Larissa has provided comprehensive primary care services across the lifespan, managing acute and chronic conditions while emphasizing preventive care and patient education. She is skilled in performing a variety of in-office procedures, including joint injections, trigger point injections, biopsies, cryotherapy, laceration repair, pelvic examinations, Pap testing, and Nexplanon insertion and removal.
Throughout her career, Larissa has demonstrated strong leadership abilities through roles in clinic management, utilization review, and nursing supervision. Her experience includes serving as a Clinic Manager for a family practice clinic, Utilization Review Nurse at a major academic medical center, and School Health Nurse supporting the health and wellness of students and staff within the Los Lunas Public Schools system.
Committed to lifelong learning and professional excellence, Larissa maintains active licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and Registered Nurse in New Mexico and is board certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Larissa is passionate about improving access to quality healthcare, empowering patients through education, and fostering healthier communities across New Mexico.
